Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 March 2026

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your use of Milo, a travel intelligence platform available at mymilo.travel (the “Service”). Please read them carefully before using the Service.

The Service is operated by Nathan Davies, trading as Milo, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@mymilo.travel.

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Milo is an AI-assisted travel planning platform. It helps you identify destinations that match your stated constraints and generates day-by-day itineraries for trips you are planning.

Milo is not a travel agent, booking agent, package organiser, or tour operator within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 or any other applicable legislation. It does not make reservations on your behalf, does not act as an intermediary in any booking transaction, and does not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or suitability of any destination, venue, accommodation, transport, activity, or other service mentioned in any itinerary or recommendation.

Itineraries and recommendations are suggestions produced by automated systems based on the information you provide. They are not professional travel advice. You are solely responsible for verifying all bookings, visa and entry requirements, health and safety conditions, insurance, and travel warnings before travelling.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

3.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information at registration and keep it up to date. You may register using an email address and password, or via Google OAuth. If you register via Google, you are additionally subject to Google's terms of service.

3.2 Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@mymilo.travel if you become aware of any unauthorised use.

3.3 One account per person

Each account is for a single individual. You may not share your credentials or allow another person to access the Service through your account.

4. Service tiers

4.1 Free tier

Free accounts provide access to the destination matching conversation, scored recommendations, and the full itinerary. Free accounts may save up to 10 trips. Affiliate links are included throughout itinerary content.

The free tier does not include personalised itineraries, the budget estimate, the reservations tracker, or the Milo chat panel.

4.2 Milo Personal (paid subscription)

Milo Personal unlocks the full Service, including personalised itineraries, the complete day-by-day plan, the budget estimate, reservation tracking, and the Milo chat panel.

Pricing: annual plan at £39/year (billed as a single annual payment) or monthly plan at £4.99/month. Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust pricing on reasonable notice (see Section 11).

4.3 Free trial

Your first complete Milo Personal experience is provided free of charge - one full itinerary with all Milo Personal features unlocked, with no payment card required. After the free trial has been used, a paid subscription is required to access Milo Personal features for subsequent trips.

5. Payment, cancellation, and refunds

5.1 Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method on the applicable billing schedule. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid.

5.2 Recurring billing

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. We will charge the applicable fee to your payment method on file at the start of each new billing period.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period - you retain access to Milo Personal features until then.

5.4 Refunds

For monthly plans, no refunds are issued for the current billing period. For annual plans, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not generated more than one personalised itinerary during that period. After 14 days, or if you have made material use of the Service, annual plans are non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you believe exceptional circumstances warrant a refund, contact hello@mymilo.travel.

5.5 Statutory cancellation rights

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. By using the Service and requesting that digital content be provided before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that you may lose this statutory right once the digital content has been fully provided.

6. Affiliate links and third-party services

6.1 Affiliate disclosure

The Service contains affiliate links to third-party providers including Booking.com, Skyscanner, GetYourGuide, Viator, and Rentalcars.com. We earn commission on bookings made through these links. This is a material commercial relationship and we disclose it here and within the Service in accordance with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

6.2 Independence of recommendations

Affiliate relationships do not influence which destinations the Service recommends. The destination scoring engine operates independently of the affiliate layer. Commission structures do not affect ranking, ordering, or prominence of recommendations.

6.3 Third-party terms

When you click an affiliate link, you leave the Service and are redirected to a third-party platform. Any booking you make on that platform is governed by that third party's own terms and conditions and privacy policy. We are not a party to any contract between you and a third-party provider, and we accept no liability for the acts, omissions, products, or services of any third party.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful personal travel planning purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers, or any connected systems
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technology to extract data from the Service, except through APIs we expressly make available
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person, or create multiple accounts to circumvent tier restrictions
  • Reproduce, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit any content generated by the Service without our prior written consent
  • Use the Service to generate content for commercial resale, including selling itineraries or travel recommendations produced by the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, with notice where practicable.

8. Intellectual property

8.1 Our intellectual property

The Service, including its design, source code, scoring algorithms, brand, trademarks, and all original content, is our intellectual property or is licensed to us. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

8.2 Your use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial travel planning in accordance with these Terms.

8.3 Generated itineraries

Itineraries generated for you are provided for your personal use in planning your travel. You may share itineraries with travel companions using the Service's built-in sharing features. You may not commercially exploit, resell, or redistribute generated itineraries.

8.4 Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service (such as reservation confirmations). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it to you within the Service for the purpose of providing the features you have requested.

8.5 Aggregated data

We may use anonymised, aggregated data derived from use of the Service (which does not identify you personally) to improve the Service, including destination data quality and recommendation accuracy.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

9.1 Service provided “as is”

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory.

9.2 AI-generated content

Itineraries and recommendations are produced by automated systems. While we take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or outdated information. We do not warrant that any itinerary, cost estimate, visa requirement, or other information will be accurate, complete, or current at the time you rely on it.

9.3 No guarantee of availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

9.4 Third-party services

We are not responsible for the availability, quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any third-party service, venue, accommodation, transport, activity, or experience mentioned in or linked from the Service.

9.5 Limitation of liability

Subject to Section 9.6: (a) we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity; and (b) our total aggregate liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the greater of (i) the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) £50.

9.6 Nothing excluded

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any liability under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that cannot be excluded; or (d) any other liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

9.7 Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that are not affected by these Terms. Where digital content supplied by the Service is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

10. Termination

10.1 By you

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. If you have an active subscription, cancellation must be processed separately (see Section 5.3).

10.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your account if: (a) you breach these Terms; (b) we are required to do so by law; or (c) we reasonably believe your account is being used fraudulently. Where practicable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before termination.

10.3 Effect of termination

On termination, your right to access the Service ceases. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections 6.3, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes - including changes to pricing, your rights, or our liability - we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you reside. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us at hello@mymilo.travel in the first instance so that we can attempt to resolve it.

13. General provisions

13.1 Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in respect of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

13.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13.3 No waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

13.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets, provided your rights are not materially diminished.

13.5 Third-party rights

These Terms do not confer any rights on any person other than the parties to them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
